Order automation in an industrial company

Context: Orders were imported and processed in large volumes with a high manual share, and correspondingly prone to errors.
My role: Senior software developer, responsible for rebuilding the pipeline
Implementation: Rebuilt the entire order processing as an automated end-to-end pipeline with SAP integration via REST, validation and monitoring.
Outcome: Over 92% fewer processing errors with more than 4,000 records per day.

Prime Route Logistics, logistics platform & ERP

Context: An international freight forwarder needed its website, client portal and entire forwarding operation in one system instead of scattered tools.
My role: Concept, architecture and development
Implementation: An installable, multilingual PWA (Sorani, Arabic, Persian, English, incl. RTL) with a public website, client portal and complete forwarding ERP: quotes, shipment tracking, freight and customs documents, invoices with payments, reports, and role and permission management.
Technical details: Security: Argon2, 2FA (TOTP), nonce-based CSP, rate limiting, AES-GCM encryption, audit log
Operations: automatic backups, Vercel Cron and Blob, email routing and Turnstile via Cloudflare

Context: A ride-hailing platform with very high user volume needs sign-in and sessions that stay secure and stable under load.
My role: Freelance developer, responsible for the complete authentication system as a sub-project

Building Rebar ڕێبەر

Rebar is a Kurdish platform with a business directory and dictionary, live on the App Store, Google Play and the web. I founded Rebar and built it alone as a full-stack developer, from the database to the store submission.

The target audience is the Kurdish population, estimated at over 60 million people worldwide. This figure describes the market, not the number of Rebar users.

I am Omid Amini, a software engineer focused on enterprise systems, EDI and automation. I have been building software since 2016, today as a senior developer in industry and as the founder of Rebar, a multilingual Kurdish business platform.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of companies do you work with?

Mid-sized companies, industry and logistics, and founders building their own product. What matters is not size but a clear goal and a contact person on your side.

How is the price for my project determined?

The listed prices are starting prices for a typical scope. After a free first call you receive a written fixed-price quote with a clearly defined scope. Extra cost only arises if you deliberately extend the scope.

How long does a project take?

A compact Website Starter usually takes 3–5 business days once all content is available. A custom business website typically takes 2–4 weeks. EDI connections and automations take about 3–6 weeks depending on scope. The binding schedule is defined in the quote.

Do I own the source code and data?

The custom-developed source code and agreed project data are handed over in accordance with the contract after full payment, with an exclusive right of use as set out in the terms. Domain, hosting and database can be set up directly in your name on request. Third-party software, frameworks, APIs and external services are subject to their own licence and usage terms. The code is documented so other developers can continue working on it.

How do I keep track during the project?

Through your personal client portal. There you see progress and milestones, accept quotes, find invoices and files, and message me directly. On top of that there are regular check-ins.

Can you connect existing systems such as SAP or Oracle?

Yes, that is my core experience from industry. I work with EDIFACT, X12, XML and REST and directly with SAP, Oracle and SQL databases, and build integrations with validation, logging and monitoring.

How do you handle privacy and security?

The technical implementation takes relevant privacy and security requirements into account, for example encrypted connections, a role and permission concept, rate limiting and regular updates. EU hosting is available on request. The specific data protection assessment depends on the project, the data processed and the third parties involved. A data processing agreement is available if required.

What happens after go-live?

Every package includes a support period for bug fixes. Afterwards you can add maintenance and operations on a monthly cancellable basis, or continue running the system yourself or with your team.

Do you only work in the Remscheid area?

No. I am based in Remscheid, Germany, and work across Germany and internationally. Collaboration runs remotely via video call; on-site meetings in North Rhine-Westphalia are possible on request.
